WHO WE AREFor years, Owners Jodi Lukes and Amber Wilde have gained experience in the field of bookkeeping. In 2010, they decided to go into business together, and started Bookkeeping Solutions. Jodi and Amber have been friends for over 21 years and are happy residents of Ojai, CA. They are both involved in the Ojai community and love to volunteer at the Humane Society of Ventura County and are involved in local fundraisers such as the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. ABOUT JODIJodi Perdue has worked in accounting for 11 years beginning her career at a local retail appliance store working in accounts payable and accounts receivable. She graduated from Cal State Channel Islands in 2006 with a degree in Business. After earning her degree, Jodi was employed at Vance, Thrift & Biller, CPA's where she provided bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services to numerous individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts in Ventura County for over four years. She also enhanced her education by taking accounting courses when possible through UCSB Extension after graduating. In 2010, Jodi made the decision to leave her position at Vance, Thrift & Biller to join with Amber in creating a bookkeeping business of their own. She began her bookkeeping experience working for small business owners in Ojai to earn extra income while attending college. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Communications in 2005, Amber went to work for a family who owned three small businesses in Santa Barbara where a primary part of her position was bookkeeping and managing finances. Amber chose to enhance her accounting experience through taking accounting courses at UCSB Extension and Ventura College. She also gained new experience by working for a large staffing company where she was a Financial Analyst and Executive Assistant for four years. Amber has experience working with a range of clients: small retail businesses, service based businesses, property management, and managing personal assets for individuals.
